The Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront Hotel was the setting for the wedding of Alison and Kevin. This is one of those weddings that I classify as a “run and gun” gig. The coverage time was short, so there were no moments to capture during preparations, and the weather was NOT cooperating, which quashed their primary wedding plans. The wedding was supposed to take place on the rooftop of The Hilton. It’s extremely cool up there, the view is awesome, and it’s perfect for a smaller wedding with a smaller reception. But, the weather had other ideas. It refused to let up. So, the ceremony was held in the NE corner room on the 2nd floor which overlooks the beach and the neptune statue. The Hilton did a wonderful job of changing on the fly and making things great for Alison and Kevin. These are two extremely nice people, and their families and friends were equally nice. This was supposed to be a low key event, there was no music, so no dancing. Just bunches of happy people celebrating the happy couple. Congratulations to Alison & Kevin!
